Title: Systems Engineer
Location: West Sussex
Salary: Up to \xc2\xa370,000 depending on experience
We are recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join one of our established clients.
As a Systems Engineer you will play a pivotal role within the business and you will have exposure to some of the UK\'s largest engineering projects within the Aerospace industry.
In the role of a Systems Engineer, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Executing a wide spectrum of tasks related to systems and subsystems, which includes Braking Control Systems (BCS), Steering Control Systems (SCS), and Landing Gear Extension Retraction Systems (LGERS).
- Overseeing the process of requirement capture, derivation, and definition using DOORS, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Ensuring strict adherence to Verification/Validation certification and airworthiness plans in the execution of tasks and activities.
- You will use tools such as MATLAB and Simulink to deliver functional and performance analyses.
- Demonstrated prior experience in Verification and Validation processes.
- Previous involvement in hydro-mechanical systems, component validation, control logic design, or avionics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and/or Modeling & Simulation is desirable, though not mandatory.
