Systems Engineer

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa353k depending on experience + Bonus + Overtime

Location: Stevenage Flexible working (2-3 days per week on site)

We are seeking a highly capable Systems Engineer to join our Actuation Systems Centre of Excellence team. As a leading defence organization, we partner with governments to work towards a common goal of defending our freedom. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple international safety-critical projects across all phases of the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage product feature development from requirements analysis through to implementation and verification
• Apply Agile principles to Systems Engineering and product development
• Develop knowledge of cutting edge technologies and development techniques
• Opportunities to develop leadership skills and take on lead roles

Key requirements:

• Experience in Use Case analysis and Requirements specification
• Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering / SysML and use of Systems Engineering Tools such as IBM DOORS and Rhapsody is highly desirable
• Knowledge of Safety-Critical Systems Development and DO-178C would be beneficial

As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the Personnel Security Team.

Due to the nature of our business, this particular vacancy requires the applicant as a minimum to be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship and capable of achieving the clearance levels mentioned above.
