Job title: Systems Engineer

Salary: Up to \xc2\xa350,000 depending upon skills & experience

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

\xc2\xb7 Prepare and conduct testing, integration and trials of communications systems and their interaction with other systems, and capture findings in trials reports

\xc2\xb7 Use the Trials Management and Observation Reporting toolsets, and assist in the development of other database toolsets.

\xc2\xb7 Conduct combat systems interface fault finding, diagnostics and testing to ensure continuity of signal path on system interface cables

\xc2\xb7 Conduct Data Recordings and Analysis to support integration evidence capture

Your skills and experiences:

\xc2\xb7 In depth knowledge of communication systems and experience of system integration and trials

\xc2\xb7 Ability to generate Integration Trials documentation from Requirements, Interface Specifications and other Supplier documentation

\xc2\xb7 Producing Trials Schedules, then analysing and reporting results

\xc2\xb7 Knowledge and experience using Integration tools and other Test Equipment

\xc2\xb7 Understanding and ability to manipulate Design and Trials information stored within database toolsets (e.g. System Architect, DOORS, RQM, JIRA)

\xc2\xb7 Degree, HND or HNC in a STEM related subject or equivalent experience

The Naval Combat Systems Integration Support team:

Our team provides the Royal Navy with combat systems integration services to both in-service and future platforms including the Type 45 destroyers, the Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers and the Type 26 Global Combat Ship. The opportunity to gain professional registration within BAE.
