I am looking for a hands-on IT Support Engineer to join my rapidly growing client over in Kent. Positioned within logistics, they are looking to welcome a personable engineer to be the first port of call for incident requests relating to business software or infrastructure issues.
Primary responsibilities:
- 1st and 2nd line support
- Escalate issues when necessary and liaise with 3rd parties to find a resolution
- Testing, evaluation and deployment of new technology and equipment
- Areas of documentation includes users, incident, infrastructure, mobile devices, network, software and assets
- Participation in continuous development to meet expectations
- Maintain and update IT assets
- Key contributor to the internal knowledge base
- IT Service desk experience / Infrastructure experience (minimum 2 years)
- Maintenance of IT software, hardware and related peripherals
- Windows OS
- Network maintenance
- Ability to work to SLAs in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organisation skills
