VWS Westgarth Ltd is part of

Veolia Water Technologies

group and is reported through this parent. Veolia Water Technologies (VWT) is in turn part of Veolia Environnement SA (VE), a French multinational business.

VWS Westgarth Ltd, acts as process systems integrators and whose main office is in East Kilbride, Scotland. It is a specialist in water treatment systems for the offshore energy sector. We are the world leader in the Sulphate Removal Process, which is a sea water treatment system for the offshore energy industry and we are also specialists in treatment systems for oilfield produced waters. Our main offshore markets are currently in the Gulf of Mexico, West Africa and South America. VWS Westgarth employs more than 160 staff, across two sites in the UK and one in Brazil and Angola , where we manage the Veolia offices in Rio de Janeiro and Luanda. Our team also works closely with a number of other global Veolia business units, on a regular basis.

The Role



Systems Specialist



We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role combines technical expertise with systems administration and development and end-user support.



Key Responsibilities:



Manage IT procurement including peripheral equipment, monitors, and hardware accessories Execute complex data migration projects across multiple platforms (Google, IFS, Windows) Develop and maintain custom AppSheet applications for business processes Administer enterprise systems including OSIsoft, Primavera, and others within the business. Provide database administration and maintenance Support end-users with Google Workspace applications Deliver AI technology training and implementation

Required Skills:



3+ years experience in IT systems administration Strong knowledge of database management and Oracle installations Experience with enterprise software deployment and maintenance Expertise in data migration and system integration Expert Proficiency in Google Workspace and cloud technologies Understanding of AI technologies and implementation

Desired Qualifications:



HNC / HND Business Administration & Computing Relevant IT certifications Experience with AppSheet or similar low-code platforms Knowledge of IFS and Primavera systems
