Pool Stars Limited is a small swim school in Wyboston, Bedfordshire. We pride ourselves on delivering lessons that are consistently inclusive and engaging. Building positive relationships is at the heart of what we do!

Our work environment includes:

Warm and supportive atmosphere. Small group sizes (typically 3:1 ratio). On-the-job training, including the potential for subsidised accreditted coaching qualifications. Collaborative working and planning. Opportunity to grow and develop as a specialist swim teacher. Allocation of a coaching mentor.
Swim Instructor

Duties:
- Provide swim instruction to individuals or groups of all ages and skill levels.
- Plan and implement swim lesson curriculum based on the needs and abilities of the participants
- Teach proper swimming techniques, water safety, and rescue skills
- Evaluate and track participant progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all participants
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding participant progress and any concerns

Hours

-We are looking for instructors for our afterschool lessons from on Mondays to Fridays (3.00 - 6.30pm).

-We are also looking for instructors for our Saturday lessons (8am - 1.30pm).

-We are looking for candidates who can commit to two or more of these shifts.

Skills:
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with individuals of all ages, including children and adults
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different learners
- Knowledge of water safety practices and emergency procedures

Education

-Level 2 qualification in teaching swimming

or

pre-school/baby swimming is desirble. We will consider candidates with level 1 qualifications who show a willingness to complete a level 2 qualification asap
