We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Surveyor within the Capital Programme delivery team reporting to the Project Manager that is enthusiastic and customer focused.

You will be carrying out as part of our Better Neighbourhoods Programme the full range of technical support and contract administration functions, designed to maintain and keep safe the Borough\xe2\x80\x99s Housing Stock and Built Environment to meet statutory and corporate requirements.

The Surveyor we are looking for will be working within our internal project teams and will be responsible for overseeing capital programme schemes from inception to completion, which includes assisting in the delivery of specialist Fire Safety work, and major refurbishment works etc.

The work can be high-pressured and challenging, but it is also rewarding.

You will need:

With relevant educational qualifications and experience of the social housing sector, you will be relied upon to give technical and surveying expertise to the Capital Programme delivery team.
You will have excellent communication and customer services skills: able to demonstrate experience in liaising and building relationships with our internal stakeholders such as housing management and customer service teams and external stakeholders such as our residents, consultants and contractors.
