Role Overview:

We're seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Surveyor to assess residential properties for insulation and home improvement services. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients, responsible for evaluating each property, identifying the best solutions, and producing accurate surveys to support quotations and installation planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Visit customers' homes to carry out on-site assessments Evaluate insulation needs (e.g., loft, wall, cavity, or thermal foil) and identify existing materials Inspect for issues such as damp, spray foam, ventilation problems, or structural concerns Record accurate measurements and photos of relevant areas Explain products and services to customers in a professional, friendly manner Complete and submit detailed survey reports with recommendations and cost estimates Liaise with office staff and installation teams to ensure accurate scheduling and materials ordering Uphold company values and promote trust with homeowners

Requirements:

Experience in insulation, surveying, property maintenance, or construction (preferred) Strong communication and customer service skills Basic understanding of property structures and moisture/ventilation issues Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or use of company vehicle)

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of spray foam removal regulations and insulation compliance Experience using surveyor apps, digital measuring tools, or job management software
