Clients are likely to include Network Rail, Transport for London, Metrolink, KAD, ASPRO and HS2, depending on the frameworks and projects. It\'s likely, for example, the candidate will survey manage a range of projects on our professional services contract with Network Rail which requires site visits and/or surveys. This would involve working with multiple internal technical teams within AECOM and subcontractors to coordinate project delivery. The candidate may also be involved with survey managing projects for other teams with the Rail Asset Management Group, possibly covering: Geospatial, Geophysics, Ground Investigation, Trackbed Investigation, potentially spanning into operational management depending on the project requirements.

Job responsibilities:

• Production and maintenance of a Survey Tracker/Dashboard throughout the lifecycle of a project
• Facilitate with the preparation of tender submissions and pricing
• Production of safety paperwork required for site mobilisation
• Client liaison at all levels
• Keeping the Project Managers apprised of the status of survey works as the surveys progresses
• Coordinating and ensuring that resources (both internal and external) work efficiently

Qualifications

• Rail experience required
• Knowledge of engineering surveys
