A beautiful complex of 3 properties comprising of a converted 4 bedroom barn where 4 ladies live and 2 single occupancy annexes . There is a communal courtyard which is perfect for social gatherings and warm evening BBQ\'s which are a firm favourite with the people we support there. The property is within walking distance of local amenities but situated in a rural location. 24/7 support with a variety of shifts available.

Our specialist Supported Living and Outreach service in Cornwall, provides support for people with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individual\'s needs. Through our outcome focused approach, we support people to maximise choice and control in their own lives .We meet with each person referred and their family so that we can develop a strong understanding of their life story, any support or communication needs and their personal aspirations.

We work in partnership with Local Health Professionals such as social workers, community nurses, and specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists. Person Centred Planning Our staff support each person to create a person-centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future. Through a range of communication tools, we ensure that each person is closely involved in the development of their own plan.

As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including

  • Prompting service users independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life
  • Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
  • Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying service users to routine appointments or administrating medication
  • Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping
  • Assisting with personal care (Depending on service user)
  • Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking
Experience within the care sector is not needed as we offer full training, coaching and development
