We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a self-motivated \xe2\x80\x98people-person\xe2\x80\x99 to join our team as a Support Worker (Single Homeless Pathway) on a FTC basis for 12 months, working 30 hours per week. In this role you\xe2\x80\x99ll actively promote health and wellbeing to our residents with a range of support needs, so they can develop independent living skills, remain independent, engage with external services and move on to living within the wider community and prevent future homelessness.

This is a hands-on role where you\xe2\x80\x99ll identify, assess and produce plans to support our residents\xe2\x80\x99 needs, provide them with life and social skills, ensure security and safety within their living environment and help them to learn how to live a happy, independent life for a better future.

If you have the skills to communicate with the residents, showing empathy, compassion and patience then you\xe2\x80\x99re already on the right path to success in this role. No experience is necessary, as long as you have the right attitudes and ambition!

You must be able to work flexibly over 7 days, with the ability to travel across the island, working in the different service locations. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be expected to cover sleep in duties on a 4 week rolling rota. You will be required to work every other weekend.

The post holder will need a full UK driving license and access to their own vehicle. They will also need to be based in the Isle of Wight.
