This full-time role is based in a service located in Malton that supports adults with learning and physical disabilities, autism and brain injuries. Your role will involve providing personal care while understanding the importance of maintaining the dignity and well-being of the service users. We believe that support workers who can bring a little something extra to the service create an environment that is both enriching and enjoyable. If you possess talents and interests in music, drama, arts, or any other creative field, your unique skills will be highly valued. Sharing similar interests with the service users helps to create bonds and meaningful connections that enhance the overall experience.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience in Social Care in the UK is essential
• A fun, chatty, bubbly person that also listens and is patient
• Be proactive and engaging with the service users you are supporting
• Flexible availability to accommodate varying shift patterns, including weekends and evenings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference
• Being a driver with access to your own vehicle is desirable
