Support Worker

Location: Honiton, Devon, EX14
Salary: \xc2\xa320,514 per year (pro rata) + Benefits
Hours: from 10 to 37.5 hours per week , flexible, part time, full time

No experience necessary, we will provide training!

Who will you be supporting?

Devon Support Service is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to people with a range of disabilities who require assistance with daily living tasks. This may include personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and transportation to appointments or activities.

About you

• Looking for part-time or full time hours on a rota basis, covering a combination of mornings, evenings, and weekend support
• A compassionate and patient approach to working with the people we support who have diverse needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Share out values of embracing differences, promoting inclusivity and respect one another

Key responsibilities

• Provide support with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with meal preparation and household tasks
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Accompany the people we support to appointments and activities
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and provide reports as necessary
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the people we support at all times

Training and Development
