About The Role

Job Role: Support worker

Location: Grantham

Pay rate: \xc2\xa312.50 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa317 plus holiday pay

Requirements: You must have full right to work in the UK and minimum of 3 months support work experience.

Our support workers will need to have an ability to develop relationships with people and are adept at managing challenging situations. You will have a skill of understanding and encouraging people to look after themselves and live life in the fullest way possible.

You will need experience of adults with:-

\xc2\xb7 Acquired Brain Injuries

\xc2\xb7 Learning Disabilities

\xc2\xb7 Spectrum Disorders

\xc2\xb7 Head Injury rehabilitation

Support workers duties: -

• Providing physical support
• Prompting personal hygiene
• Providing emotional support
• Supporting and helping with health care needs
• Encouraging and supporting the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests
• Teaching life skills, such as shopping, using public transport and paying for bills
• Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards
