Available are both full time (37 hours) and part time (18 hours) fixed term positions until 26/06/2026.



We are seeking an individual with experience working with children and families to support our Fostering Service as a Family Placement Support Worker within the Social Services and Housing directorate.



The Family Placement Team is a child centred service working on behalf of Pembrokeshire County Council to ensure effective fostering services for children in the community in line with the Fostering Services (Wales) Regulations 2018.



In this role you will work with both Foster Carers, their family and the children they look after to improve placement stability by increasing the support offered by Pembrokeshire County. As well as being highly motivated and organised, the ability to communicate effectively with others while building strong working relationships is a must in this role.



Joining this team would provide many opportunities to bring new ideas, develop professionally, and contribute directly to promote a culture of continuous improvement, reflection and learning.
