10am-3pm Wednesday and Thursday
Watford, WD25
\xc2\xa311.20 per hour
In one of our outreach homes in Hertfordshire, we support a young gentleman in his late 30s. We are looking for a new part-time Support Worker who will make a real difference in this gentleman\xe2\x80\x99s life. He would like his new friend (because at Dimensions, our colleagues are more than just support workers) to be enthusiastic about his activities and support him by going bowling, attending regular day centres where he meets new friends, making cakes, arts, and crafts and going to the local town to go shopping.
No two days will be the same, you will support him with his personal care (alongside his parents), mobility and meal preparation including support with feeding and introducing new foods into his diet.
We recruit based on values, so whilst previous experience is always welcome, it is certainly not essential as full specialist training and support will be provided. We just need you to come with an open mind, shared values, and an eagerness to learn.
