Support Worker - Paediatric Complex Care (Caerphilly)

Afterschool, weekends, waking nights, and full days during school holidays

We're now looking for a caring, confident Support Worker to join a paediatric package in Caerphilly, supporting a vibrant young girl with complex health needs and sensory challenges.

This package is transitioning from 1:1 to 2:1 care, and we're looking for someone who's experienced, emotionally attuned, and ready to provide calm and structured support in a home-based setting.

You do need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle to work as a Support Worker with us. This is because all our customers live in their own homes in the community.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting a young person with epilepsy and rescue medication Providing suctioning and tracheostomy care Monitoring and managing clinical observations and risks Promoting calm, structured routines and helping with transitions Supporting during sensory play, outdoor activities, and community engagement Assisting with personal care, manual handling, and repositioning Working as part of a team during 2:1 shifts and lone working during certain times
