We're now on the look out for two new part-time colleagues to join our amazing #TeamONeill in
Alexandria
on a part-time (20 hours per week) basis. We also have relief job opportunities too if you're looking for something a bit more flexible.
The Role
You'll become part of a friendly, dedicated team who provide support to three fun loving gentlemen who have learning disabilities . This is an exciting, varied role, where no two days are the same.
You'll provide support all aspects of the gentlemen's daily living, including cooking, support to activities and appointments, finances, medication and prompting with personal care. We'll also need you to take an active interest in their hobbies and interests too, some of which include music, going to the gym, swimming, football, pool and darts.
About you
Don't have experience? Don't worry, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need, we'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6-7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees!
What we'll need from you:-
Good communication skills
A caring attitude and approach
A positive approach to learning
An understanding of the importance of following routines and guidelines
The ability to cook
Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns
Our service provides support 24 hours a day 7 days a week, so shift patterns are a mixture of day shifts (varying times and lengths), backshifts and sleepovers.
Our sleepover shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, so you will receive an additional payment of
100.80
for each sleepover worked.
