Role

Our client provide industry leading technology solutions to customers across the logistics sector. Their enterprise customers have ever changing demands but always require the best support for their software.

They are looking for another enthusiastic person to join the support team and meet the ever-growing needs of the clients. As they are a Software provider the support team mainly supports the software, they develop but this varied role also includes some hardware support and some occasional admin tasks.

Duties and responsibilities

• The day-to-day duties of the role will be to provide first class service to our customers.
• Reviewing their support requests, liaising with them for more information and looking at what steps are needed to resolve them.
• Responding to customers in a polite and courteous manner and where possible resolving any issues raised or escalating them internally should the need arise.
• Each day learning more about what we do and the different complexities to the systems we develop.
• You will also complete daily checks on our systems looking for anomalies and fixing these before a customer notices. As well as sometimes setting up, packing, and mailing equipment as well as some general admin duties.
• On occasion customer site visits are sometimes necessary to help resolve issues during which you will be diagnosing and repairing hardware faults in person.
• You will also get involved in new product configuration of both hardware and software.

• Someone who has an interest in Computing or willing to learn.
• Educated to a degree level is preferred but this not essential.
