Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Support Engineer to provide professional and efficient support to both our field-based engineers and our Dover team. The Support Engineer will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, collecting, and carrying out machine changes and installations as required, both on land and at sea. This role will suit a motivated Support Engineer, with a passion for gaming machines and a dedication to providing exceptional customer support.

This position is based out of Dover docks and will be also covering the rest of the UK and other countries. Approximately 10-15 weeks of the year will be spent away, either UK based or abroad. You must be fully flexibility to travel, some of which will be at short notice.

Responsibilities:

Provide professional and efficient support to field-based engineer in the gaming machines industry.

Repair, maintain, collect, and carry out machine changes and installations as required, both on land and at sea

equipment preparation for customers

Ensure customer satisfaction through exceptional workmanship and a positive attitude.

Utilise electrical/mechanical expertise for the installation, removal, and service of gaming machines.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in gaming machine technology

Requirements:

Proven experience in electrical/mechanical expertise, ideally in the installation, removal, and service of gaming machines

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility to work on land and at sea, as required and sometimes at short notice.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must have some knowledge / experience of fruit, coffee, vending OR some type of machinery.
