have a fantastic opportunity for a

Supply Planner

to support our Nectar Imports site. This is a managerial position with four direct reports.




This role will be based in Woking at Asahi House, with the expectation of one day per week of travel to Nectar Imports, Hindon.




Key Purpose Statement






To lead and develop a team of Planners while managing the end-to-end supply planning of third-party wines, spirits, and soft drinks. This role ensures optimal inventory levels, timely purchase ordering, and efficient stock movement to meet customer demand and peak trading periods. The position involves continuous process improvement, proactive issue resolution, and close coordination with vendors and warehouses to maintain high service levels and operational efficiency.




Key Accountabilities






Accountable for leading and developing a team of four looking after all 3rd Party Products Planning supply of a portfolio (~1300 SKUs across ~100 Vendors) of 3rd Party wines, spirits & soft drinks bought in from vendors Management of all current and projected inventory levels, ensuring consistently good stock availability for customers and adherence to maximum storage capacities Generate POs based on lead times, delivery parameters & ordering parameters (MOQs) Planning medium to long term stock build for peak periods (Xmas, bank holidays etc.) Pro-actively managing any stock outs/service level issues to minimise business impact Inventory management - monitoring stock levels, flagging slow movers and any shelf life issues Liaising with warehouses to schedule the delivery of products Managing delivery schedules for interdepot movements on a daily/weekly basis and verifying these with the relevant warehouses Produce monthly supplier sales reports as required Recommend and implement improvements to current processes





Experience required






Preferable to have supply planning, sales, and/or operational planning experience in an FMCG environment Advanced Excel skills for reporting and analysis Strong analytical skills able to make the connections in data, events and trends. Customer or supplier relationship management experience Knowledge of working with MRP systems (preferably Merlin and/or SAP) Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
