A Global FMCG manufacturer is currently recruiting for a Supply Planner / Materials Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. Joining a well established Supply Chain and Planning Team, out client is seeking an experienced Supply Planner who has experience of faced past manufacturing and previous experience in responsibility for planning or raw materials for manufacturing purposes.

Supply Planner Responsibilities:

Responsibility for the ordering and planning of all raw materials to site
Managing a highly complex material portfolio and planning and ordering around the operational complexities, to satisfy the production schedule
Running the internal S&OP cycle for material planning
Taking part and leading supplier reviews, holding suppliers to account for their performance
Balancing materials vs multiple contractual commitments with suppliers, ensuring materials are called off against the correct contract at the correct time
Be the lead process owner on resin for the site, working collaboratively with UK and European colleagues providing reports and timely feedback to the Supply Chain team on any materials related issues
Provide forward forecast to group procurement, tracking deviations against contract. Review discrepancies in the system to determine route cause

You will be an experienced Supply Planner / Materials Planner with previous fast paced / high volume manufacturing background. Experience of SAP will be deemed highly desirable, but experience of working on mainstream ERP systems is essential.
