About the role
We're looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain manager with logistics & procurement expertise to join our Business Delivery team. You'll lead and inspire our logistics function, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of services across the business - while also playing a key role in supplier management, cost control, and operational improvement.
You'll work closely with the Head of Supply Chain and internal stakeholders to drive performance, streamline processes, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied, fast-paced role within a collaborative, forward-thinking business.
What you'll be doing:
Logistics:
Implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring productivity, quality, and cost control targets are met.
Resolve issues quickly and effectively, acting as an escalation point where needed.
Monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory, and manage supply and demand channels.
Champion process improvements, working closely with cross-functional teams.
Maintain and enforce health and safety protocols and compliance procedures.
Procurement:
Support contract negotiations and build relationships with trusted suppliers.
Ensure suppliers meet agreed standards through regular reviews and performance assessments.
Source new suppliers, products and services in line with business needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records.
Support the strategic development of procurement policies and procedures.
Leadership:
Inspire and manage a collaborative and adaptable team culture.
Conduct regular team performance reviews, feedback sessions and development planning.
Lead team meetings, training, and retrospectives.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional environment for all direct reports.
Strategic:
Identify risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation plans.
Monitor supplier performance and find opportunities for improvement.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and support carbon reduction goals.
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards and internal company policies.

Proven experience in logistics, procurement or supply chain management.
A confident leader with excellent communication and people skills.
Strong stakeholder communication at all levels.
Strong problem-solving ability and a hands-on approach.
Strong organisational and strategic thinking skills.
