Supply Chain Assistant
Job Description
Pertemps Swindon are currently recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Assistant to join our client based in Swindon area. This position is a contracted role.
The successful Supply Chain Assistant will be responsible for:
Monitoring the shipment schedule to order deadlines by liaising with shipment, insurance and custom clearing companies
Ensure all documentation complies with company rules and procedures
Liaise with relevant departments, clients and suppliers regarding orders
As an experienced Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain Assistant you should be able to evidence the following skills:
Minimum 4 year\'s experience in supply chain/logistics,
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Experience with SAP or ERP systems is desirable
Experience of a recognised MRP / ERP software would be an advantage, ideally Tensoft FSM and/or Oracle
