Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. As a Duty Manager, you will ensure that all staff members are performing their duties effectively while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the team to ensure efficient service delivery and adherence to company policies. Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and quality control. Assist in training new staff members in hospitality practices, food safety, and operational procedures. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of both front-of-house and kitchen areas.

Qualifications

Proven experience in team management, preferably within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude. Previous experience in bartending or hotel management is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
