Sifted is looking for a sub-editor to join our fast-growing team covering the world of European startups and tech.
We are looking for a detail-oriented wordsmith who can subedit copy quickly, cleanly and accurately, factcheck thoroughly, hone articles for SEO and ensure consistency of editorial voice.
As sub-editor, you will be the lynchpin of Sifted\'s newsroom and work closely with all of our journalists and editors, along with several key members of the broader company. You will also have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and contribute to Sifted\'s range of products, from newsletters to podcasts.

What will you be doing?
From our (soon to be) daily flagship newsletter to data briefings and the dozens of articles we publish per week, it will be your mission to ensure that everything we publish reads beautifully, is true to Sifted style and is free from any spelling, grammatical, factual or formatting errors. You will also be responsible for ensuring we follow SEO best practice.
