We're looking for a Subeditor to help us improve the financial literacy, and wellbeing, of the worldxe2x80x99s population xe2x80x93 all 8bn of us!By combining data and behavioural psychology, our technology empowers users with personalised financial knowledge and skills.Wexe2x80x99re a fast paced, and even faster growing, SaaS FinTech providing financial education to employees, customers and communities across +100 countries.This is a unique opportunity to make the world a better place, develop your skills, interests and experiences and have a lot of fun along the way!Role overviewYou will be working with both the central content team and our network of EMEA based Personal Finance Writers to help us deliver content and insight into the wider business. We cover subjects ranging from everyday finances and budgeting to buying a home and income tax. Anything that impacts the money in people's pockets.This will be a varied and dynamic role and will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • The team is a combination of experience levels so the role will involve sub-editing, in English, copy of varying degrees of writing experience and language backgrounds
  • Liaise with senior team on tone of voice and develop gatekeeping strategy
  • Fact-check in local and global environments
  • Deal with short and long form content
  • Remote position based in the UK/Europe

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience sub-editing in English
  • Experience in developing and gatekeeping tone of voice
  • Knowledge of personal finance/global finance across EMEA
  • Used to fact-checking possibly complex areas of personal finance
  • Experience collaborating with a wide of different personalities remotely
  • Experience of using a CMS would be useful
  • 2.5 days per week, Monday-Friday
