to work at our

iconic Old Oak Common development in London.

HS2s new c. 1 billion Old Oak Common station will become the UKs best-connected rail station once completed. Our Balfour Beatty VINCI SYTRA joint venture will be responsible for the final design, construction, and commissioning of the station in Northwest London.



Upon completion, the new station will boast six underground platforms and up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line. Old Oak Common will also provide highspeed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland, and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports. Incorporating passenger and retail facilities, the new station will provide an exceptional customer experience for both passengers and visitors to the station.



As part of the construction teamyou will be responsible for the management of the safe and efficient demolition and replacement of Network Rail bridges over the existing road and tube network.



There will be significant interfaces involved with these unique packages of work which will require a high degree of collaboration both internally and externally along with other contractors on site.

What you'll be doing

Other Key responsibilities are:


Review, measure & interpret specifications & drawings, propose any optimisations of design and constructability support to design management team. Produce high level construction methodologies to support procurement, interface management and early consenting requirements (logistics, noise, access etc) Monitor production outputs, systematically checking data and contributing to analysis. Assist the Project Manager to lead risk/opportunity reviews, present the Risk Register and recommend/implement changes. Manage interfaces between suppliers and encourage collaborative behaviours and effective communication between all parties to ensure successful delivery. Ensure assurance activities/audits are undertaken, recorded and actioned.

Experience of working on a variety of project types including those with rail interfaces and multiple complex subcontract packages Experience in implementing safe systems of work, managing risks and change processes. Experience in temporary works design, management and installation. Proficient on O365.
