A vacancy has arisen for a Student Liaison Assistant to work in our constantly developing Students\' Union Office. The Students\' Union works hard to support students during their time at the University. It offers a great introduction to a great University and city and helps make everyone\'s time here as enjoyable as possible, allowing students to settle in quickly within our friendly and welcoming community.
The main focus of the role throughout the year is to provide an effective and distinctive Students\' Union and assist in the continued development of student engagement and enrichment activities, including planning a programme of events throughout the academic year.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, have good administration skills, experience of organising events and leading group activities, and have evidence of using Adobe Creative Suite and software for social media and communications. They will have proven ability to relate to a wide-range of students, staff and suppliers. Experience of working closely with, or as a member of, a Students\' Union Executive Committee is desirable.
