Full Time (35 Hours per Week)

We are looking for a highly organised, professional, approachable and self-motivated individual to undertake the role of Student Digital Communications Officer.

The Opportunity:

The post holder will be required to oversee and administer all student digital communication activities for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught programmes within the Biomedical Teaching Organisation. The post holder will have experience of website content design (creation, editing, publishing and maintaining) as well as excellent communication skills, experience of developing communication strategies and, in particular, being able to communicate to a variety of audiences. The post holder will also be responsible for the creation and production of print media.

Your skills and attributes for success:

• Experience of website content design and of working with a variety of web techniques.
• High level of copy-writing and editorial accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences.
• High level of IT literacy, experience of working with a range of software and procedures, including graphics packages.
• Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, work under own guidance and as part of a team.
