Structural Revit Technician

Our client is an engineering consultancy with a true passion for historic building preservation and restoration and they are looking for a like-mind Structural Technician to join their close-knit Edinburgh office.

As a Structural Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on the conservation of some of Edinburgh\'s most iconic buildings as well as designing bespoke, new constructions for private clients throughout the UK.

You\'ll be part of a small team of 15 enthusiastic engineers and technicians working in a Victorian style office space with excellent public transportation links nearby that allow you to access the office from most parts of the city in under 30 minutes.

As the headcount is small, the directors are very hands-on and are happy for all staff to be creative and influence the design process whilst demonstrating their own design flare and ability to tackle complicated challenges.

STRUCTURAL TECHNICIAN PROFILE

As a Structural Technician, it is expected that you will be able to work independently, manage your own workloads, and collaborate with other engineers/technicians in the office. Although, you will report directly to two directors, all employees of the office are happy to offer help and guidance.

Working from home is a possibility, however the directors prefer to have all staff under one roof as much as possible and believe that this contributes to a close-knit, family-oriented office environment.
