Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy practice looking for a Structural Engineer to join their talented team of engineers in Ipswich. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects.

You will be working closely with Senior Engineers and CAD Technicians on delivering projects or varying scale and in a variant of sectors.

The role will include undertaking structural inspections, preparation of calculations and details, attendance at project meetings and report writing.

Requirements:

• BEng/MEng Civil/Structural Engineering Qualification
• Minimum 2-5 years post graduate design experience
• Design experience using Eurocodes and British Standards
• Experience in the structural design of reinforced concrete, steelwork, timber, and masonry
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver multiple project designs
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with colleagues, clients and other design team members
• Be responsible for directing CAD Technicians to produce the appropriate level of design information required
• Be working towards achieving Chartered Engineer status
• Auto Cad experience
• A full UK driving licence and access to their own transport
