Sherborne School is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and innovative professional to lead the Strength and Conditioning programme. The post holder will work throughout the age ranges to educate and enhance athletic performance with support from a number of qualified and dedicated colleagues who work within the new Sports Centre which opened within the past year, containing a state of the art fitness suite along with a dedicated performance gym.
Sport plays a big part in the lives of the boys and increasingly this is linked to their health and well-being plus their physical development. All boys participate weekly, and most will represent the school in inter school fixtures on a regular basis. The Head of Strength and Conditioning will also be pivotal in assisting in the development of our performance athletes; we have many boys involved in external representative pathways in rugby, hockey, cricket plus some of the more individual sports.
Salary:
32,000.00 to 40,000.00 per annum depending on skills and experience. Salary will be paid monthly in arrears direct into your nominated bank account and will usually be reviewed annually in September.
