Street Cleansing Operative (driver)
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a Street Cleansing Operative (Driver) to join our expanding business, working in our new contract in Woking.
You will be cleaning areas of Woking to specification and schedule in accordance with company standards, which may include the following tasks:
Cleanse areas and public land to the required specification and frequency. This may include the removal of litter, debris, glass, dog fouling, animal carcases, fly tipping, fly posting, graffiti, needles from streets, footpaths, green spaces and other sites by means of manual operation and mechanical equipment.
Collect and dispose of a variety of waste types. This includes materials identified as special and hazardous waste which will be removed and disposed of in accordance with the appropriate legislation and guidance.
As required undertake other duties either in the Street Cleansing Team to provide cover for other operatives.
Driving Licence essential. Experience in Street Cleansing desirable. Bagma Training will be provided for any machinery to be used.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 40 per week
