Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen for street cleaning roles working for a local authority in Conwy
As a Street cleanser, you will be:
- Providing general front-line support to members of the general public in a courteous manner
- Responsible for general cleanliness of an area, including mechanical hand sweeper along with litter collection using a hand cart
- Keeping the sites clean and tidy
- Emptying litter and dog bins on a daily basis
- A good work ethic, physically fit due to the nature of the role and happy to work outdoors
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Your own steel toe cap safety boots, other PPE will be provided.
Working hours will be Monday 8.30am to 16.24pm with a 30 minute break, off Tuesday and Wednesday, working Thursday/Friday/Saturday and Sunday 8.30am to 16.24pm with a 30 minute break. These days WILL NOT change.
