We work collaboratively with the business areas we support across the Group COO ("GCOO") division to support colleagues in identifying, reporting and mitigating risks, helping to transform the bank in a safe and compliant way.
What would you be getting involved with?
Setting the control strategy and plan for the Division including roles and responsibilities, initiatives and timeline by demonstrating existing frameworks i.e. RCSA Handbook.
Ensures alignment of the control strategy with the overall GCOO and business strategies.
Monitors and reports on overall control performance including progress of controls testing, RCSA, internal audits, external reviews and other assessments, and control indicators .
Perform analysis and produce insight from control performance including thematic findings
Defines and delivers a Controls Office Communications Plan within GCOO
Interlocks with key team members and provides relevant controls and testing communications across the Division

What you\'ll need:
Knowledge and experience of strategy development and monitoring
Have good knowledge of control frameworks covering traditional and emerging technologies, cloud, cyber and change
Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing and engaging with colleagues at all levels and being responsible for stakeholder management
Excellent organisation, planning and problem-solving skills
Experience in designing data visualisation, analysing data and producing insightful reports and themes
Risk management experience in financial services sector, Fintech sector or technology sector with understanding of operating in a regulated environment
