We are recruiting for a Strategy and New Ventures Manager, which sits within our Commercial Finance & Strategy team. You will support the Senior Manager on the identification, prioritisation, launch and growth management of new products that CtM doesn't offer to customers today. You will take the lead on specific products/workstreams, developing deep insight into the business model, customer challenges and demands, profit pool opportunity and/or capability of potential partners and competitors



We hope to see strong execution skills, coordinating work across a broad range of cross-functional teams to facilitate a smooth launch process and effectively deliver on growth opportunities post-launch.

Some of the fantastic things you will be involved in:


Work in close collaboration with the Senior Manager to understand customer needs and markets for new products, developing a strategy for CtM to deliver

Lead Request For Information (RFI) processes, proactively developing direct relationships with market participants that could deliver compelling commercial and customer outcomes

Identify, evaluate and pursue new Partnerships and/or value chain opportunities, utilising a variety of data sources to inform the approach

Lead the onboarding process internally and with partners, with support from a broad range of cross-functional teams (including Legal, Compliance, Data, Tech, Product, Customer Ops and more)

In collaboration with the Partner and relevant internal teams, identify, execute and evaluate the impact of growth opportunities once a new product has been launched to see whether it can achieve the desired success metrics

Identify, monitor and mitigate Risks proactively and with strong understanding as to the relevant regulatory requirements (supported by relevant teams). Discharge responsibilities with due care and diligence, ensuring these regulatory requirements are met

Protect the customer through robust due-diligence, execution and third-party management, ensuring appropriate policies and frameworks are followed to evidence good customer outcomes.

You'll ideally have


A [commercial AND / OR product background]and we'd love a bit of consultancy experience, but this is purely desirable

A growth mindset and comfortable operating at a higher level of detail to inform the strategy

Strong communication style and ability to influence stakeholders and partners

Commercial focus and ability to interpret data from multiple sources to feed into decision making

Comfortable following a test-and-learn approach, with the aim to iterate and improve over time

Experience of managing partners, including relevant governance

Been part of the launch or material change in a product - e.g. CX, QA, business readiness, training / onboarding processes, stakeholder mgmt. / monitoring / rollback plans etc.
