In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Audiences, Head of Communications, and Senior Management of all V&A sites to maximise Comms opportunities to underpin the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s strategy, engage audiences, launch the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s new museums, and drive growth. This includes developing and implementing a V&A-wide corporate comms strategy, shaping our approach to national and international activity, reviewing our key messaging and corporate positioning, driving thought leadership, and delivering dedicated PR campaigns.
You will advise on and shape positioning around public funding, inclusivity, sustainability, and cultural and socio-political issues impacting the cultural sector, as well as develop communications approaches, briefings and campaigns to support the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities. Additionally, you will develop briefings for the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s Executive Board (and occasionally Trustees), and play an active role in horizon scanning and mitigating any risks to the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s reputation.
Building on work done to date, you will support and coordinate public affairs activity, leading a plan that will proactively communicate the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s strategic priorities to relevant stakeholders, and creating advocates for the V&A.
Part of the Audiences, Commercial and Digital division, and working closely with senior management across the V&A, this role sits within the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s Communications team, responsible for building the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s brand through high-profile and creative PR campaigns, partnerships and initiatives that nurture audience relationships across the UK and globally, protect the V&A\xe2\x80\x99s reputation, and drive reach and revenue.
