Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Stores Person / Driver. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing the ability to transform our warehouse and service our customers requirements. This position requires excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn about our products and services. The role will involve delivering parts to our customer sites.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Duties:

Stock management, entering information into MRP system, picking and packing orders, loading and unloading vehicles

Delivery Driving:

Planning routes, making deliveries to customers, and maintaining the vehicle. Tracking mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery records.

Other Duties:

Depending on the specific role, this may include vending/consignment management or general store duties.

Skills

Strong communication skills to effectively engage with colleagues. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding product features and assisting customers and supporting staff with technical queries. Experience in warehouse / stores operations is essential. Clean driving license to drive the company van A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and adapting to changing retail environments. Experience of working in a fast paced environment and be able to multi task Good understanding and demonstrable use of Microsoft Word and Excel

Pay: 12.69 per hour
