Then you might be our new Stores Person / Mechanical Technician to join our team at our Brigg Renewable Energy Plant.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, primarily responsible for managing an accurate store's inventory and ensuring the CMMS system is aligned. It is desirable for the successful candidate to be able to assist the maintenance team to undertake routine planned and reactive maintenance on site.
Summary of key responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring the stores stock inventory is maintained to a high level of accuracy, clearly identifying spares numbers, description, location and quantity on stock.
Ensure COSHH materials and equipment are stored in the correct manner.
Ensure the CMMS system matches the actual stores stock inventory and undertake an annual audit to ensure compliance.
Responsible for setting a high visual standard and ensuring these standards are maintained through annual shutdowns.
Monitor inventory levels and order stock when necessary.
Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received.
Manage all collections from stores.
Picking and delivering goods by using a forklift.
Summary of desirable responsibilities:
Ability to assist / undertake practical application and timely diagnosis, fault finding and scheduled / unscheduled repair and maintenance of the mechanical plant and systems.
Provide operational support for all planned outages as required.

This role is a full-time role contracted for 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime and weekend working as required.
