JOB PURPOSE:
To undertake works in connection with the issuing of store's material and the
maintenance of stock, to include purchase orders and receiving goods.
MAIN DUTIES:
To take delivery of goods, ensuring that goods are checked off in an accurate and timely manner
Check for damages and quantity.
Update computer system to enable accurate stock levels.
Put materials away in stores after deliveries in a FIFO order.
Pull and transact materials into build kits.
Assist with stock checks when required.
Keep stores clean and tidy.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience of working in the electronics industry would be preferred.
A knowledge of good practice relating to Health and Safety Regulations, would be advantageous.
Experience on the handling of electronic devices is beneficial but not essential.
A full driving licence would be preferred.
Computer literate and basic knowledge of stock systems
Good listener and team player.
Methodical and organised and able to work on own initiative.
A Forklift licence (Desirable)
The ability to provide an effective courteous service.
A flexible approach to working arrangements.
Team player.
Out of hours working may be required to cover the needs of the business in certain situations.
Full training will be provided.
