Role Scope:



To work with the stores Supervisor and progress the daily Stores activities whilst adhering to the company processes, policies, and procedures.

To conduct the daily stores activities including Booking items into stock, booking items out from stock, managing stock inventory, selecting items for production, selecting items for shipment etc.

To assist with promoting all continuous Improvement activities and ensure procedure and process adherence with regards to product quality.

To assist all other teams on priority tasks as required.

Daily Tasks:

(Including but not limited to)

Booking product in/out of the general store

Booking product in/out of the cold store

Booking product in/out of the raw material store

Reviewing and maintaining stores stock levels

Taking delivery of goods inwards items

Managing product paperwork - including Packing slips, CofCs, COO certificates etc.

Packaging goods for despatch

Using the despatch system

Working with external courier companies

Conducting periodic stocktakes of stores

Reviewing -04 and -05 product line shelf life (Tin plated product)

Helping conduct 8D/IRB activities for stores related issues

Additional Tasks:

(Including but not limited to)

Covering QA activities as required (Goods Inwards, Inspection etc.)

Assisting in priority areas as requested by the management team.

Example of a typical 4-day week priority plan:



Monday and Friday:

(Reduced team Numbers)

Priority 1: Stores activities.

Priority 2: Assisting with QA activities as required.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:

(Full team Numbers)

Priority 1: Stores activities.

Priority 2: Assisting with all other tasks as required.

Person specification:



Experience of stores systems (essential). Computer literate (accurately inputting data, creating/printing labels, packing slips, etc) Good understanding of company policies and procedures. Motivated with a positive "can do" attitude. Diligence & attention to detail. Team player
