Job Description
Stores Controller required. Our client is a specialist manufacturer, supplying a range of industries with specialist engineering solutions based in the Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Warehouse / Stores Operative to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the control and management of goods in / goods out.
Stores Controller Position Overview
- Controlling goods in and goods out, ensuring paperwork is correct
- Carrying out quality checks of goods-in
- Ensuring goods inwards are placed in the designated areas
- Loading of despatch items onto vehicles with the use of a forklift
- Ensuring the workshop and warehouse are kept in tidy and safe conditions
- Operating a forklift within the warehouse (training provided)
- Carrying out stock checks in line with the stock management software
- Experience within a Warehouse / Stores role
- Full UK Driving License, with the ability to drive the work van for local deliveries
- Based in a commutable distance of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
- Experience operating a forklift is desirable
- Previous experience within a warehouse or production operative related role
- Starting salary: \xc2\xa323,000 - \xc2\xa325,000
- Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30. Friday 08:00 - 15:30. Permanent position.
