Job Description
I am now working with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Worksop, North Nottinghamshire who due to internal promotions are now looking to recruit a highly driven, Stores and Quality Control Supervisor to join the team. This will be on Days, Monday to Friday with good progression opportunities.
As the New Stores and Quality Control Supervisor you will report directly to the Operations Manager located at the Worksop site, however occasional domestic travel to other group plants, customers or suppliers may be required. Your daily responsibilities will include the management and organisation of the quality and overall supply chain of products including organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods. You will plan and manage quality, logistics, warehouse and transportation of products across the UK and globally.Duties Include
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Manage goods in for quality and provide first level of quality control.
- Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials.
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Negotiate rates with carriers.
- Supervise, coach and train stores staff.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure the despatch of completed work reaches the customer on time.
- To work in a safe and considerate manner so as not to endanger themselves or other persons.
- To always comply with company procedural requirements.
To apply for the Stores and Quality Control Supervisor position you will ideally have a strong background in Planning, Managing and Organising the safe delivery of high value, strict quality products worldwide. Additionally, you will possess good all round communication skills with the ability to update computer based systems.

The business is currently going through a growth period with new new products being manufactured by the business. Due to internal promotions, they are now looking to recruit a highly driven, Stores and Quality Control Supervisor to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a Global Manufacturing Company located in Worksop and will come with progression opportunities. You will be working Days based, with a yearly salary of \xc2\xa328,000 to \xc2\xa331,500 depending on transferable skills and background experience.
