Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our logistics and store room team, contributing to the timely delivery of goods. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn. Experience in warehouse operations, including commercial driving and knowledge, is advantageous.

Loading and unloading goods from lorries and vans, ensuring accurate handling of products. Checking in stock and labelling for upcoming deliveries. Maintain an organised and clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock management. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate deliveries and manage workflow. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times. Have a willingness to take on tasks in a proactive way, at times on your own initiative. Be able to work effectively with office staff in order to solve problems and work on procedures to improve the performance of the company.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A valid commercial driving licence is desirable for those who will be involved in driving duties, including flatbed or van driving. Strong communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and coordination within the warehouse environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.15-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
