Retail Store Manager - Charity
Horfield, Bristol
Salary up to \xc2\xa327,500 per annum
Full time - 37.5 hrs

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Store Manager to join a leading charity retailer at their store in Horfield.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop as well as managing a team of retail volunteers. This role requires exceptional customer service skills along with excellent communication and organisational abilities.

To be a successful Shop Manager you will have sound retail experience within
mainstream or charity retail. Bringing with you your management skills, you will
be an energetic and motivating manager. Using your commercial skills, you will
be able to make commercial decisions to ensure stock is present on the shopfloor
in the right place at the right time.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving profitability within a store environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
Store Manager - The Role
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, customer service, staff management and stock control.
  • Ensure that all customers are provided with excellent customer service in line with company standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses to encourage donations of goods for sale in the store.
  • Recruit, train and manage a team of staff to ensure all duties are carried out efficiently and effectively in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop strategies to increase sales revenue through effective merchandising, promotions and campaigns within the store environment while adhering to charity guidelines on pricing policy for donated items.
