Position: Store Manager

Salary: Competitive salary, plus excellent staff benefits.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, 5/7 days per week including weekends and occasional evenings. Flexibility with working hours is required.

Heart of Midlothian Football Club, a cornerstone of Scottish football since 1874, is entering an exciting new chapter -- and we want you to be part of it. As we embark on a new era with our new kit partner hummel, we are looking for a passionate and driven Store Manager to support in leading our retail operations and shape the future of the retail offering at one of Scotland's most historic football clubs.

We have ambitious plans to grow our retail presence, enhance the supporter experience both in-store and online, and deliver quality across every channel. If you are an experienced Store Manager, with strong leadership skills that you can bring to a dynamic and evolving department - we would love to hear from you.

You'll be at the centre of our retail team, leading with passion and energy, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and driving performance in-store and on our online platforms. We are looking for someone who will ensure our values, heritage, and commitment to quality are reflected in every product, display, and interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operations of our club store and online shop with confidence, efficiency, and pride. Drive the launch and promotion of exciting new products, including our upcoming hummel kit range. Inspire and manage our retail team, fostering a positive, energetic and ambitious environment. Deliver high quality customer service and ensure our supporters enjoy every retail interaction with the club. Take ownership of store standards, merchandising, and stock accuracy - understand the ins and outs of what's selling, what's working, and what's next. Provide regular insights and feedback to the Head of Retail and Commercial Director to support the club's commercial goals. Help implement and refine multi-channel strategies, ideally with hands-on experience using platforms such as Shopify and Klaviyo.

Essential Experience, Skills & Requirements:

Proven experience in retail management, ideally within sports or a fast-paced, high-volume setting. A proactive leader with strong people management skills and a real passion for delivering great service. Commercially savvy and digitally confident with an understanding of online retail and the importance of great customer engagement. Previous experience with Shopify, Klavio or similar online platforms (Desirable*).
Flexibility with weekly working patterns, able to work weekends, matchdays and occasional evenings. Organised, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about bringing fresh ideas to the table. Able to provide evidence of legal right to work in the UK.
