Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused store manager designate with prior experience in hardware and building materials to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction-related products and a passion for helping customers find the right solutions. As a store manager designate , you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining an organised and engaging store environment.

Responsibilities

Assist customers by understanding their needs and providing expert recommendations on hardware and building materials. Opening & Closing of the store Demonstrate product features and benefits to ensure customers make informed purchasing decisions. Upsell additional products and services to enhance the customer's experience. Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and efficient manner. Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system. Manage time effectively to complete daily tasks and restocking responsibilities. Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales targets and uphold high customer service standards.
Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in hardware, building materials, or a related field is required. Strong sales skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively. Excellent time management and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment. Professional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash accurately. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members. Ability to confidently upsell products while ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
