An exciting new opportunity has now arisen for a Stock Controller to join a diverse, progressive and market leading Company. The successful candidate will be working in a fast-moving environment; therefore, they must be able to adapt, work quickly, and have great attention to detail. They are looking for a driven and confident person for this role.
About you
- Experience of working in a fast paced retail, distribution or manufacturing environment
- Pass in maths and English GCSE or equivalent
- Good computer skills
- Strong communication skills & attention to detail
- Processing of purchase orders
- Deliver goods on the accounting system
- Follow up on discrepancies with suppliers & chase outstanding orders
- Liaise with transport companies regarding deliveries
- Weekly stock counts & responsibility for stock movements
- Lead and organise bi-annual stocktakes
- Other ad hoc admin tasks
