Key Responsibilities:
Oversee site operations, safety, and compliance with regulations
Prepare and monitor method statements and risk assessments
Report incidents, manage lifting equipment, and track project progress
Liaise with Project Manager on site issues, materials, and labour
Monitor hours and site costs using StruMIS and Fieldwire
Manage site HR tasks: training, leave, recruitment, and performance
Sign off work quality, capture photos, and report KPIs
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and H&S audits
Forecast labour needs and allocate resources effectively
Collaborate with Estimators, Designers, and Project Managers
Requirements:
Proven site management experience in steelworks or similar
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of H&S and QA standards
Proficient IT and reporting skills
Relevant certificates: SMSTS, CSCS, IPAF, CPCS, Abrasive Wheels, Alloy Towers
Driving Licence required
